Summer is also about traveling. Come with us to Provence. Taste LEVENDER.

Lavender fields are an integral part of Provence, a region that attracts visitors not only by its name. In the areas of Drôme Provençale, Luberon, Var, you will find a vast array of purple pillows that swell in the warm breeze. Lavender is beautiful all year round, in spring it is shining with gentle green, in summer it is like a movie star, photographed and encircled for its purple and blue color, after the harvest and over the winter it has a cool green color. The lavender flowering period is from the beginning of June until the end of August. Homemade lavender lemonade is really worth it!

In one glass you will need two teaspoons of honey. Prepare a handful of blueberries. Crush the lavender flowers in the mortar and make sure it ground to very fine. A couple of flowers for decoration, you can also use white or pink lavender. And pour sparkling water over the top of all of this. Add lemons. You will be thrilled! Enjoy your meal J

PS: You can also put lavender in the bathtub, decorate cakes or add it to honey or marmalade. If you want to protect your clothes (as Carrie Bradshaw says “I like my money where I can see it – hanging in my closet!“), put a lavender bag between your clothes. Clothes moths, unlike you, will not find it’s smell nice.
